So, in 1985 they decided to start their own agency in Athens which was an even greater success. In 1993, when yacht chartering had by then become a big business, the company moved to Preveza under their son’s name “Elias Stamatis Yachting and Travel”.

It was the very first yacht chartering agency in Preveza area.

Having gained experience from their life at sea and being yacht owners themselves, the founders of the company knew from the beginning that what matters most is the excellent condition of the boat and the satisfaction of each client. This policy is what brought the agency to the top and established them as experts in yachting business.

With extreme care and thoroughness, all yachts are examined to the last detail until they are sure to guarantee a safe and carefree trip.

In 2002 Stamatis Yachting began its co-operation with Dimitris Lorentzos- initially on technical matters which later on extended to all management, administration and tourist services. This co-operation soon developed into a closer relationship since Dimitris, apart from graduating the Merchant Marine Academy and serving as a Naval Officer, has proved his skill in all areas, driven primarily by his love for the sea.

Dimitris Lorentzos

In the middle of 2006 he took over the full management of the office and since the beginning of 2008 he is the owner and proud continuer of the company and its long tradition which has been so successful over the years.  Faithful to the traditions and the policy of Stamatis Yachting, he is covering more and more ground in leading the company again to new successes and achievements.
